Stronger Leaders. Stronger Connections.
The ASAE New CEO Forum is a cohort-based leadership development program limited to 50 participants. Over four sessions—two in-person and two virtual—new association CEOs build practical leadership skills through Gallup-facilitated training and develop peer relationships with others navigating the same transition.
Program Description
The transition into the CEO role is one of the most pivotal—and isolating—moments in a leader’s career. The ASAE New CEO Forum is an exclusive leadership development experience designed to help you lead with clarity and confidence while building the lasting peer relationships that will sustain you throughout your tenure.
Through two in-person sessions and two virtual convenings, you’ll engage in targeted skill-building led by seasoned leadership experts, tackle the real challenges you’re facing right now, and connect with a cohort of peers who understand exactly what you’re going through—because they’re living it too.
The program is intentionally small. With just 50 participants per cohort, every session is designed for candor, not performance. You’ll gain research-backed frameworks and practical tools you can apply immediately, while building a trusted peer network that extends well beyond the program itself.
Whether you stepped into the CEO chair last month or a few years ago, the New CEO Forum meets you where you are—and helps you lead with greater purpose, perspective, and impact.

Amplying Your Unique Strengths
Session #2
Oct. 1, 2026 | Omaha, NE*
Facilitated by Dr. Tim Hodges, Senior Consultant, Gallup
*flight and hotel stipend provided by Visit Omaha
Understanding your natural talents is just the beginning. This half-day course with your peers takes you beyond awareness to help you intentionally invest in your innate talents and apply them strategically in your work and life.
Research shows that individuals progress more rapidly in their areas of strength than in their areas of weakness. Despite this discovery, people often spend more time trying to fix their shortcomings than developing their areas of strength. This course shifts that paradigm. You’ll learn how to identify what you do best, maximize your potential using your CliftonStrengths, and adopt practical strategies to increase your effectiveness, engagement, and fulfillment.
Learning Objectives
–Discover how to make a difference by doing more of what you naturally do best
–Gain insights into your innate talents by exploring your CliftonStrengths 34 results report
–Learn how to develop your greatest talents into strengths through proven, research-backed strategies
–Acquire tools and coaching resources to apply your strengths for greater productivity, engagement, and happiness—long after the course ends
What You’ll Take Away
You’ll receive a collection of dense, actionable coaching resources designed to support ongoing development. Read them, discuss them with your team, and coach from them as you continue your strengths-based leadership journey.
